Effective Date: March 15, 2026 · Last Updated: March 15, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website tyrlegal.com and all related services, products, and content (collectively, the "Service") operated by AIO Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business in Fort Worth, Texas ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. CRITICAL NOTICE — This Is NOT Legal Advice
⚖️ READ THIS CAREFULLY:
Tyr provides legal information, legal research, and legal education for general informational purposes only. Tyr is NOT a law firm. Tyr is NOT a lawyer. Tyr does NOT provide legal advice.
The information provided by Tyr does not, and is not intended to, constitute legal advice. All information, content, and materials available through the Service are for general informational purposes only. Information on the Service may not constitute the most up-to-date legal or other information.
No attorney-client relationship is formed between you and AIO Inc. by your use of this Service. Communications through Tyr are not protected by attorney-client privilege.
1.1 Legal Information vs. Legal Advice
There is a critical legal distinction between "legal information" and "legal advice":
- Legal Information (what Tyr provides): General statements about the law — statutes, codes, regulations, and published case law — presented factually without application to a specific person's circumstances.
- Legal Advice (what Tyr does NOT provide): The application of law to an individual's specific circumstances, resulting in a recommended course of action. Only a licensed attorney, after understanding your complete situation, can provide legal advice.
1.2 What Tyr Does
- Locates and displays federal and state statutes, regulations, and published legal authority
- Provides plain-English explanations of legal concepts and statutory language
- Identifies relevant legal areas based on general fact patterns
- Compares laws across jurisdictions for educational purposes
- Reviews documents for general legal concepts (not legal analysis)
- Provides attorney referral information
1.3 What Tyr Does NOT Do
- Provide legal advice or legal opinions
- Represent you in any legal proceeding
- Establish an attorney-client relationship
- Create attorney-client privilege for any communication
- Provide recommendations on specific courses of action for your situation
- Replace consultation with a licensed attorney
- Guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any legal information
- Practice law in any jurisdiction
2. Unauthorized Practice of Law (UPL) Compliance
2.1 State UPL Statutes
The unauthorized practice of law is prohibited in all 50 states. In Texas, the unauthorized practice of law is governed by Texas Government Code § 81.101-81.106 and is a criminal offense under Texas Penal Code § 38.123.
Tyr is designed and operated to provide legal information and research — not legal advice or legal representation. This Service does not involve:
- The preparation of legal instruments or documents intended to affect legal rights (other than standard informational templates with disclaimers)
- The rendition of opinions as to the legal rights of any person
- The application of the law to the specific facts of a person's situation to advise on a course of action
- Representation before any tribunal, court, or administrative body
2.2 Your Acknowledgment
By using this Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You understand the difference between legal information and legal advice
- You will not rely solely on Tyr's output for any legal decision
- You will consult with a licensed attorney for advice specific to your situation
- Tyr's information may not reflect the most recent legal developments in your jurisdiction
- Laws vary by state, county, and municipality — general information may not apply to your locality
3. Attorney Referral Disclosures
3.1 Referral Service
Tyr may provide referrals to licensed attorneys. These referrals are provided as a convenience and do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, or guarantee of any attorney's qualifications or fitness for your particular matter.
3.2 Referral Fees
AIO Inc. may receive referral fees or compensation from attorneys or law firms to whom users are referred. This does not increase the cost of legal services to you. Any referral fee arrangement complies with applicable state bar rules and regulations.
3.3 Texas Lawyer Referral Service Act
To the extent applicable, this service operates in compliance with the Texas Occupations Code Chapter 952 (Lawyer Referral Service) and applicable State Bar of Texas rules governing lawyer referral services.
3.4 Independent Verification
You should independently verify any attorney's credentials, bar membership, disciplinary history, and suitability for your matter through your state bar association.
4. Accuracy and Timeliness of Information
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Laws change constantly. Statutes are amended, regulations are updated, and courts issue new opinions daily. While Tyr strives to provide current information, we cannot guarantee that all information reflects the most recent legal developments. Always verify current law through official sources (state legislature websites, federal register, court opinions) or consult a licensed attorney.
Official sources for verifying legal information include:
- Federal: congress.gov, law.cornell.edu (Legal Information Institute), govinfo.gov
- Texas: statutes.capitol.texas.gov, txcourts.gov
- All States: Your state legislature's official website, state court system websites
5. Service Fees and Payment
5.1 Pricing Tiers

6. Document Upload and Review
6.1 Nature of Document Review
When you upload documents (contracts, leases, agreements, etc.) for Tyr to review, the review is informational only. Tyr identifies general legal concepts, potential areas of concern, and relevant statutory provisions. This is NOT a legal analysis, legal opinion, or legal review as those terms are understood in the practice of law.
6.2 Limitations
Document review by Tyr:
- Does not constitute legal advice regarding the enforceability of any provision
- Does not identify all potential legal issues (only common patterns)
- Should not be relied upon as a substitute for attorney review
- May not account for jurisdiction-specific requirements
7. User Responsibilities
7.1 Independent Verification
You are responsible for independently verifying any legal information obtained through Tyr before taking action. This includes confirming current statutory text, checking for recent amendments, and verifying applicability to your jurisdiction.
7.2 Professional Consultation
You are strongly encouraged to consult with a licensed attorney before making any legal decision or taking any legal action based on information obtained through Tyr.
7.3 Prohibited Uses
You may not use Tyr to:
- Prepare or file legal documents in any court or administrative proceeding

- Tyr does not track, monitor, or alert you to any legal deadlines
- Relying on Tyr instead of consulting an attorney may result in adverse legal consequences
- AIO Inc. is not responsible for any legal outcome resulting from your use of Tyr

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AIO Inc., its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your reliance on any information provided by the Service; (c) your violation of these Terms; (d) any legal action you take or fail to take based on information from Tyr; (e) any claim that your use of information from Tyr constitutes unauthorized practice of law; or (f) your violation of any applicable law or regulation.

12. Intellectual Property
All content on the Service — including text, graphics, logos, code, explanatory materials, and educational content — is the property of AIO Inc. and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
